Paracord Goodies

Just a brief one today people.
So I'm pretty certain everybody who follows the EDC scene knows something about paracord or at least knows what it is. It comes in all shapes, sizes, colours and load ability. Mainly I like to stick with 550 paracord, it's hard wearing, easy to use and create things with, and as the name suggests it will hold around 550lb (about 250kg), making it great for survival, camping and just about anything you could use a piece of string for but with the added strength and piece of mind.

Paracord Goodies come in all shapes and sizes

Perfect for walking your dog....or horse

 Tough, hard wearing keyrings

Now, in a survival situation It's highly unlikely that you're going to have 50ft of paracord to tie your emergency shelter together or to abseil down that cliff you so desperately have to get to the bottom of. There is however a brilliant and creative solution, paracord goodies! These range from keyrings to bracelets, dog leads to bag straps and everything in between, but where do you find such goodies that are high quality and dependable? There is nothing worse than getting yourself a nice survival bracelet or keyring made from 550 and for it to unwind and start falling apart after A week, I like to make sure when I buy these items that they are nice and tight and have been made with real craftsmanship and a desire for good dependable products. How do I make sure I get these items every time? A friend of mine from Essex is the answer, if you can think of something that can be made from paracord, the chances are, he will make it.

Can be unwound to produce large amounts of paracord

I could spend all day telling you about the variety of goodies that he can make but I know you will probably get fed up of reading it so instead I'm just going to point you in the general direction of his work.

Head on over to see his work and remember that even if you don't really need or want a 550 bracelet, it could one day save your life in a survival situation.
It's better to not need it and have it than to not have it and need it!!
Thanks for stopping by and remember to follow the links on the right of my blog to check out my social media pages.
